Aq Tech controls the following companies, mainly operating in the pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical industry:
Montefarmaco SpA, 100%-controlled, is an Italian leading company in the production and distribution on third party account of pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical products, and of surgical and medical devices. It is specialized in topical and systemic medicines and probiotics;
Sigmar Italia SpA, 100%-controlled, operates in the production, distribution and sale, both on its own and on third party account, of dietary, pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic products. It is specialized in the production of pharmaceutical topical powders;
Sigea Srl, 85%-controlled, is a research and development company located in the Area Science Park of Padriciano (Trieste). The company is developing a wide project on derivatives from ruthenium, a heavy metal with a potential activity against cancer. The company has also developed a series of patented technologies on biomaterials, of which some are already produced on a pilot basis and could be used as surgical and medical devices for protection treatments for sensitive skins, such as those of kids and elderly people.
