Matthew Beckman

Matthew Beckman, born in Ohio on July 3, 1970, has been with Yorkville since January 2001 at which time he was responsible for identifying transactions for the fund. Starting in 2003, Matthew became responsible for overseeing Yorkville’s trading and brokerage relationships. He managed the trading operations for the fund’s portfolio in which he focused on working with Yorkville's executing brokers to provide the fund with the best possible execution of its equity sales. Since November 2008, Matthew is particularly focused on Yorkville’s overseas business and co-manages the transaction pipeline and team of corporate finance professionals along with Gerald Eicke.
Also a former employee of the May Davis Group, Matthew’s background includes a specialization in small and mid-cap financing.
Matthew earned his BA from Rutgers University.
